Well, today I turned 40. As a kid I thought it would feel different...feel older, but I just feel more at peace, more grounded and secure. I've accomplished a lot , but I'm in no way finished. I've learned a lot but I still hunger for knowledge and remain open for the lessons of life. If it's as they say and truly down hill from here ,then imma ride this Mother F**ker all the way out. At this 40th mile marker my life is full and made rich by the people around me. I have a wife whom I love beyond measure, beautiful kids who brighten each and every one of my days, friendships that will last a life time, and I am part of a ln industry and culture in which I have forged relationships that transcend motorcycles and spills into the realm of deep and meaningful connections. On today which is known as Freedom Day the banks are closed, mail has stopped and many people around the United States are taking a day off to reflect on the events of 1865 in Galveston, Texas. Don't know what happened?
